My sister and I have both chosen professions where people pay us to be in control. Even when a problem is completely out of our hands, we are paid to fix it, or find a way to work though it. But what do you do when it all goes wrong and you can't fix it (not necessarily on the business side of life, but more so the personal)? You know, when "poo" is hitting the fan... except it's more of a torrential rain storm of it... when no amount of sweet talking, quick thinking, begging, bargaining, borrowing or even tears can provide a solution? A few tips from some wise women in my life come to mind... 1. "It's not about taking back control, but putting your faith in the One who already has it". 2. "You do the best you can with what you have at the time you have it". 3. "Sometimes you have to give other people the opportunity to forgive." Still stressed out? Breath in and out slowly, and take a few minutes to chillax and listen to Ginny Owens's song "If You Want Me To".

Hi Rachael! I came across your blog as I did a google blog search for cymbidium flowers... since I saw the TLC episode with y'all a while back and loved the flowers! I'm part of a class online where I'm learning 23 Things (blogging is one of them). I'm a teacher in Houston and I enjoyed reading your post on "Control..." and when nothing works, we have to remember that everything is under control by the One who is All Knowing. Great pictures and glad you're doing what you enjoy. All the best, Carranza :)
